She doesn’t look like a widow, or act like a widow, but she feels like one. Melissa is widowish.
Grief is universal, whether it has been experienced through death, divorce, a diagnosis (yours or a loved one’s), the loss of a job, a move, etc. Melissa's workshops explore the healing benefits of writing. For writers and non-writers alike!
If you’re wondering about the healing benefits of writing and are curious about writing your story for yourself or for others... then I hope you'll consider joining one of my workshops.
We have all experienced grief in some way, whether through death, divorce, a diagnosis (yours or a loved one’s), the loss of a job, a move, etc., and this workshop explores how putting pen to page, or fingers to keyboard, can help you on your healing journey. I believe that grief requires witnessing, and sharing your story with others can be incredibly powerful.
Through short, guided, writing prompts, optional sharing, and personal storytelling, participants in this small group setting are given the opportunity to explore where they are, where they’ve been and where they hope to be on their healing journey. With the intention of finding connection and hope on the page, this guided writing workshop is meant to support writers and non-writers alike.
For now, all workshops are held via zoom throughout the year and are for US residents only. Please contact me to be informed of upcoming dates!
